Knowing yourself, discovering yourself, and trying new things doesn’t have to stop. (And let’s be honest, it shouldn’t stop either.)
It is so easy to get caught up in everyday life. In the mundane day to day tasks that you partake in to keep your life going. When this happens, it is so easy to forget to try new things, to keep figuring out what you do and don’t like. Even easier to avoid these kinds of things when things like anxiety decide to flare up and suddenly the scariest thing in the world becomes leaving your house or leaving your bedroom.
But self-exploration is one of the most important things you can do for yourself especially if you want to keep growing on your own before the universe throws a curveball in your plans and decides to force your personal growth.
As the year of 25 continues to chug on, and I am focused on dedicating more time to me, as is the plan for the year, part of that means self-exploration. It means attempting to do what is interesting to me. It means fighting through the anxiety in order to try new things, and it means growing in all sorts of meaningful ways that I don’t even know yet. It means making myself a promise. A promise than it between all of the life stuff, in between achieving my goals (more posts about goals coming soon.), that I will work on my self-exploration. A promise that once a month, I will go and do something that I am interested in, and that I will fight through the anxiety, to do so.
With that said, I am happy to announce The self-Exploration series. So when I do something that is within the category of “Self-exploration.” I will write and post about it here. To follow or keep up with my self-exploration, use the tags above and click on #self exploration.
